Artist Bio - Vanessa Gibson

I mainly use furniture as a canvas to draw and paint on, creating extreme upcycled pieces. My work mainly features song lyrics. I also paint slang on found things and create tiny slangbadges. I have participated in several public sculpture and mural projects. I sew unique clothing using upcycled fabrics as well as creating original batik pieces.  I am a former PTC Creative Art Faculty at a busy Fife High School.
